Digital Animal Profiles
Lua Farms uses a Digital Animal Profile system to connect each animal’s physical identity with its digital record. Every animal is assigned a unique Animal ID and linked to an online profile on the Lua Farms website.
Customers can access important animal information anytime by scanning the QR code on the animal’s ear tag or by entering the Animal ID on the Animal Profile page. The system retrieves selected information about the animal, including records from birth to pick-up age. This system strengthens animal identification, traceability, breeding reference, customer confidence, and long-term record access.
Digital Animal Identification
The Digital Animal Profile system is part of Lua Farms’ commitment to professional livestock management, traceability, and customer trust. By linking each animal to a digital profile, Lua Farms provides customers with a reliable way to access selected animal information and maintain a clear record of animals purchased from the farm.
Each animal raised, selected, or supplied by Lua Farms is recorded using a standardized animal profile format. The profile connects the animal’s unique ID, QR-coded ear tag, and selected production information in one accessible record.
This allows Lua Farms customers to maintain a clear reference for animals purchased from the farm, even after the animal has been picked up or moved to the customer’s farm.
Accessing Animal Information
Lua Farms customers can access animal information through two convenient options:
Scan the QR Ear Tag
The QR code on the animal’s ear tag opens the animal’s digital profile directly on the Lua Farms website.
Enter the Animal ID
Customers can also enter the animal’s unique Animal ID on the Animal Profile page to retrieve the same profile information.
This gives customers flexible access to their animal records whenever they need to confirm details, update their farms’ records, or refer back to the animal’s background.
Information Available on Animal Profiles
Each animal profile displays selected information recorded from birth to pick-up age. This provides customers with a stronger understanding of the animal’s background, including its identity, breed line, age, growth progress, health-related notes, and suitability for the intended purpose.
For breeding stock customers, this information supports better farm records, breeding decisions, and future reference.
Customers who already have an Animal ID can retrieve the animal’s information through the Animal Profile page.
Enter Animal ID
Once the Animal ID is submitted, the system retrieves the matching animal profile from Lua Farms’ records and displays the selected information available for that animal.
